Skating Academy

Academy Classes are for Advanced Skaters. You must complete LEARN TO SKATE “Basic 1” through “Basic 6” to qualify for Academy!

    • Academy "Spins"

$264 for 8-week semester

  • Only $33 per class – including skate rental, ice time, group class, and (8) public session passes to be used within the 8 week semester!

    • $336 for 8-weeks ($42 per week for both classes!)

Saturday Classes (8 Week Session)

We are rolling out a new SATURDAY ACADEMY Schedule beginning next semester Dec 5th- Feb 1, 2025. We have moved “On Ice “Academy Jump” to 8am and built a training day around it!

This new schedule will be for ALL Academy Skaters, from Jump 1 to Jump 3. If you have passed “Basic 6” you are included!

  • Our new schedule allows for ALL ACADEMY SKATERS to have an ON ICE Academy Class, an Off-ICE Academy Class in ballet room, and a Stroking Class on Saturday mornings. The times have changed to ensure a fantastic Academy training morning for all.
  • We have bundled the 3 classes to give you great savings!
  • We have also included a freestyle in the training morning (This freestyle is not included in the bundle). If your Skater is new to Academy, this is a wonderful opportunity to experience a “freestyle” session which is optimal for training.
  • If you are Low Academy “Jump 1” and “Jump 2” (single jumps) your OFF ICE Class will be after our ON ICE Academy and Freestyle session in the ballet room.
  • If you are High Academy “Jump 3” and working on doubles and triples, your OFF ICE Class will be before our ON ICE Academy class.

SATURDAY SCHEDULE

  • 7:15-7:45am High “Academy OFF-ICE” Class  (Jump 3 - doubles, triples)
  • 8:00am-8:40am ALL “Academy On-Ice Jump” - Academy will have entire ice!
  • 8:45am-9:05am Stroking
  • ICE CUT
  • 9:15am-10:15am Freestyle (Freestyle - must register in DaySmart)              
  • 10:20am-11:20am LTS Classes (Basic 1-6)
  • 10:30am-11:00am LOW Academy OFF-ICE (Jump 1 & 2 - single jumps)

    • $264 for 8-weeks ($33 per class)
  • Stroking - 20-minute class
    • $96 for 8-weeks ($12 per class)
  • Academy Off-Ice Classes - 30-minute class
    • $180 for 8-weeks ($22.50 per class)

  • AC Bronze - On-Ice Jumps & Stroking
    • $320 for 8-weeks ($40 per week for both classes!)
      • 60 minutes of instruction
      • Includes 10 practice passes

  • AC Gold - On-Ice Jumps, Stroking, and Off-Ice Jumps
    • $376 for 8-weeks ($47 per week for all three classes!)
      • 90 minutes of instruction
      • Includes 15 practice passes
